Musashi had a similar event occur - his tactics were similar too . He also recommended using the katana in one hand and wakizashi in the other .
Too much of video was dark. Like watching a black cow in a cave. Not for me, txs.
My (barefoot) footware are (modernish) native american style moccassins, with either a leather sole or thin rubber soles. I order a size bigger to get the loosness at the toes
Wonderful❤ you speak right to my soul
The best
The reality is that getting a fire going in damp conditions is an uphill struggle and the fire will be smoky at best.
As a German-American, I'm severely disappointed at the number of quippy one-liners delivered in barely-passable English before killing everyone in the room at this so-called "McBain Event". "My son returns from a fancy East Coast college and I'm horrified to learn he's a nerd... it's not a comedy." indeed.
You could use copper fitting on the butts its inexpensive and readily available. A cap on the ground end. You could crimp it into the existing groves. Its easy to soften copper, just heat with torch or in a fire and flash cool in water. A cap on the grpund side would work and if you ise a adapter cuppling on the head it could be threaded for attachments.
can I Gift another friend those different events of Paterson ?
Why scottish warriors would defeat a roman formation? Would they without gunfire?
I've done some crazy shit in my time, but watching you dressed in all that wool is making me itch just thinking about it.
TP to wipe your butt >>>>>>> OPTIONAL 🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣😛
Stick.
great !!
In the vid you kept saying oatmeal yet you were using crushed oats or as they are sometimes called oat flakes, have you used proper oat meal and which grade did you use, fine/pin-meal or medium oat meal? and did you have to make any adjustments to the recipe as the flaked oats would absorb the suit easier and give the bannock a lighter consistency? I find 'raw' oat meal porridge so much more filling than 'raw' flaked oats, taste nicer too.
Add a bit of cinnamon to regulate your blood 🩸 sugar and improve your energy level. Reminds me of the Breakfast Cookies 🍪 I used to get.
😂❤ I didn’t know that wool was fire 🔥 retardant 10:59 10:32 Boycott 3M ☠️ Poisonous and deadly ☠️ ❤Watch The Outlander ❤ 😂 14:11 nope 😂can’t see ya
it was very horrible and nice video
I love the Macleod of Harris tartan you don, my clan plaid as a McCaig.
And Musashi was beaten by a monk with a short staff.
Hey what knife are you using for this?
Here because I’m about to make my first targe! We haven’t had anyone make a new one in our group in years now.
I started with a cheap Pakistani fèileadh beag. Now I have two sporrans, a kilt belt and buckle, and a Jacobite shirt, and I'm awaiting the belted plaid that I ordered last week. I'm hooked. A versatile garment indeed. Sleeping bag, shelter, and four or five articles of clothing all in one.
This guy has read "zen and the art of archery"
I respected you for your stick knowledge. I revere you for the carl jung reference.
Wet cotton trews or a wool skirt no contest
Welp...yeah. To not be that greasy guess you would had to wrap them in some hemp or animal leather. I for one don't like the smell of it when used to cook certain meat dishes. And as you can see it's still used in food industry for saugaes and alike. So it's quite safe. When they ran out of food stored in, would they had ate also the bag, chew on it? Yeah, I know it sounds barbaric to some. But this is not barbaric...
Great video you have inspired me
😂😂😂
My current bed consists of a cowhide, six sheepskins (sadly industrial standard, so I'd mostly look to double the number by next paycheck) an army wool quilt(I am looking to aquire two full great kilts worth of heavy and light weight felted wool) and a down pillow. Good enough for comfortable sleep, but not enough to overstay your welcome. In this summer heat (19c°+) its nice, if too hot most days.
Hook and line fishing with this tech may be possible, but I traps or spears are a better bet. Only pursue fish when the opportunity arises, I.E. when they group up in shallow water for spawning or migration or something.
It’s called “attacking in detail”, a technique used in military strategy. Or, “divide and conquer”.
I've always wondered about this, when I was a kid we had some guys come to elementary school and said they would get them wet and freeze them to stay warm, I know wool is good for keeping warm when wet but can't fathom it actually happening , just found your channel thanks for the effort
it's a sticky willy
Check out McCaffrey crafts for a shaleighly!!
I am recruiting bards
You don't want to be vulnerable to geese.
You forgot an important piece of equipment: a katana given to you by the father of a Japanese princess, with a carved ivory handle. You're gonna need that to fight off other immortals.
This was super easy to make, and is really delicious! I made a basic savory batch of four using coconut oil for the fat, and chives and parsley for flavor. Even after the low-and-slow bake, it's still plenty soft enough to eat on its own! 😃
Slightly off-topic, but where would you recommend to get a full plaid. My son has been asked to be best-man at a Scottish wedding. My family, on my mother's side are Robertsons, leading to Boss & Co. gunsmiths, the astute mans' Purdey. So, we would like your recomendation for a plaid maker and a tailor who could supply such an item. Great video as always, thank you.
Its good for hunting. And learn how to live in jangle.
In the Americas bows were sometimes sealed with birch tar, which leaves a really pretty finish.
It's strange seeing flintlock muskets and pikes used on the same battlefield.
nice video
kinda gives me outlander vibes haha
Mr. Dozi. you should check out a show called Louder with Crowder..you might recognize someone..
Throwing sticks seem like untapped potential on this channel. If you’re already carrying a bow you probably don’t need one, but I could always use another stick lmao.
Lads, I think Tom likes sticks
Bravissimo, molto bella questa rivisitazione
Navvies survived purely on Beer and bacon. Cure your own meat and carry a slab of pork. How far does 1kg get you? Not far, because you'll give up from Carb and sugar withdrawal. But won't run out of energy. Just willpower.
